Puerto Rico to Bahamas

Route
This is going to be a special trip covering around 800nm of real blue waters. We will start in the Puerto Rican capital San Juan and prepare for the passage, provisioning and getting to know each other. Some of the crew from the previous trip will probably stay on as well. We will wait for favorabe winds and make our way northwest, following the trade wind all the way up to Nassau in the Bahamas. There will be plenty of sailing and time for some spectacular island stops.
Activities
Well, this is going to be an incredibly adventurous offshore trip. We will spend our time with safety check of the boat, repairs and safety brefins. We will sail through some of the nights using a watch system and every person will have to stand watch. For you to stand watch, you either need experience, or need to be willig to learn. I will teach you what you need to know! Once out there, we will spend our time with offshore fishing, weather analysis, playing card games, cooking, sun tanning and reading books. And of course the mandatory offshore plunge in 5000m of water!
Travel to and from the Boat
You can fly to Puerto Rico with some major airlines, expecially from the US. Nassau is accessible from a lot of places too. In both places we will be in ports that are easily accessible from the airport.
