Route
We will take our time exploring the stunning Bahamas with its thousands of uninhabited cays and little islands, starting in the Bahamian capital Nassau. When a good weather window presents, we will dash around to some of the Bahamian Archipelagos like the Exumas, Abacos or Eleuthra. We are traveling west, island hopping all the way
Activities
You are joining real live aboards and we take things slowly - there is no daily program and we will not organise activities for you. Mostly, you are completely free to do what you like. Take the dinghy to go spear fishing, go hiking or to a museum or head over to the beach bar, work a couple of hours on your computer or d nothing at all. Of course many activities will be done together though, it is more fun! The Bahamas are known as the spear fishing capital of the world and we love all underwater activities - the trip will be built around it. Snorkelling, free diving, spear fishing and boat fishing will keep us occupied for sure. It will be a mix of visiting remote places and coming across bustling sailing hubs like Nassau every once in a while. A couple of multiple day sailing passages between the islands are also on the list.
Travel to and from the Boat
Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas is well connected from anywhere in the boat. The closest Airport for the departure Cocktown in Great Exuma, or Providenciales.
Requirements
You do not need any sailing experience. You should absolutely be interested in the underwater world and willing to learn, but experience is also not required. You must be able to get a visa for the Bahamas and the Turks & Caicos Islands.
