Route

We will sail through the beautiful leeward islands and toward the greater Antilles ending in Puerto Rico, covering around 350nm. On the way, we are visiting places like Barbuda, St. Nevis & Kitts, Anguilla and St. Maartin (which is half French and half Dutch), the British Virgin Islands and fthe US Virgin Islands. These places are not just islands, but distinct countries with different languages and different cultures, each of them with beautiful beaches, awesome snorkelling and diving sites, rainforests and turquoise waters. Especially the channel around the BVIs is knows as one of the most famous diving areas in the world with lots of sharks and other marine life. Antigua is English speaking, with English heritage, beautiful hills. Going through the Anguilla channel and stopping either on the dutch or French side of St. Martin, we will visit some really nice beaches and forests. The BVIs are known for amazing beaches and lots of little islands with secluded anchorages and finally the impressive USVIs with famous parties, a little night life and even super yachts. We will make sure to arrive in Puerto Rico a little earlier, so we have plenty of time to explore a litte too. It's going o be a lot of culture and change, with English, French, Dutch and Spanish speaking Islands along the way.

Activities

February and March is the most popular time in the Carribean because rain season is over but hurricane season is not there yet. The weather is going to be super pleasant and we will spend a lot of time exploring islands from land as well as the water all around it. We will meet plenty of other boats aa amazing people, shifting from European Sailors to American sailors the further north we get. In general, we will explore the islands, enjoy the amazing fresh fruit & sea food, go fishing and spearfishing, learn how to sail and do a lot of sunbathing. Bring your free diving or snorkelling gear if you like, there is plenty of marine life to explore along the way.

Travel to and from the Boat

You can fly to Antigua with some major airlines. To Puerto Rico too, especially from the US. In both places we will be in ports that are easily accessible from the airport.
